This is a tune I’ve been playing live for a few years, and it felt great to reimagine it for the studio with all the bells and whistles (pedals and amps).

Speaking of bells and whistles, about that ship on the album cover: Today is April 15, the anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. And while the album cover isn’t the Titanic, it is another big coal-burning boat from that era: the HMT Mauretania, dressed in dazzle camouflage. This tricked-out ocean liner with war paint felt like a fitting cover for this composition.
